Kitchen Design using SketchUp requires a special set of tools, techniques, and workflows.  This class walks you through the process from basic layout through creating a detailed model, then looks at dimensioning and creating presentation images.  We'll cover lots of tips and tricks to efficiently create a beautiful kitchen.

Podium Online Class

This 4.5-hour on demand class explains the mysteries of rendering with Podium.  Learn how the process works, how to control all the settings, and work through some projects to put all the information together to create some beautiful renderings.

Since I've taught this class to many live students, I also know the likely problems and questions that will come up and address them all so you won't get stuck.  I also provide you with an  110 page class manual that we follow in class and SketchUp models for if you get stuck.

SketchUp BootCamp has gone virtual!  Our same great introductory course is now offered via Zoom!  Students will also receive access to the recorded version for review.

 Students should be comfortable with their computer skills and ready for a lively, fast-paced learning environment.

Fine Print:   You will need your own laptop to participate in the in-person classes.  Windows and Mac versions (which are very similar) will be addressed.  Due to the small size of these classes, cancellations with full refund will only be accepted 7 days or more before the class.

Basic classes cover our SketchUp BootCamp material.  We can also create curricullum for your individual needs.  Class size up to 6 can be accomodated in our classroom in North Seattle, or we can come to your office.

This intro class on the inexpensive rendering software called Podium.  We look at all the nuts and bolts of how this program works and how to quickly utilize it.  Class consists of 2 parts.  We will first have a small group  3-hour intro class limited to 6 persons, where we'll talk about the Podium interface and process.  Each student will also receive a 1.5 hour private tutorail to work on their individual projects which will be scheduled at my office at a mutually convenient time.

Students will download the free trial version of Podium on their laptops (or just watch) during the intro section and then have access to onsite desktops for the rendering section of the class.  For more info about Podium and purchasing, go to http://www.suplugins.com/

To successfully utilize this class, students should be comfortable with SketchUp and have a completed project or room to render.
